We have partnered with our client in Hampshire County seeeking a Member Service Manager/Sales Manager to support a large client base across New England through white-glove service by bringing awareness of the value and savings potential contracts bring to Higher Education. Member Service Managers then follow up to urge them to take action. This is a proactive position for someone willing to hunt for the right member contact and work to gain Facetime with them to effectively convey the company's value.

Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute annual sales plans, continually evaluate changes in the market and adjust activities/sales plans as a warranty
- Responsible for business development in a specified territory and member section, resulting in the retention of existing members and the development of new member
- Develop relationships and schedule/execute productive meetings. Travel to and meet with clients to determine their needs, spark interest, and gather details on the timing of purchasing needs.
- Responsibly entertain clients to build strong bonds resulting in loyalty to our client.
- Provide marketing feedback to the organization on information learned from members on new opportunities and offerings that would enhance the member experience
- Evaluate, request participation, and exhibit at trade shows to expand the brand
- Support the resolution of customer needs
- Complete sales and trip reports promptly
- Provide updated information to CRM to ensure database accuracy
Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Marketing or Management
- 5+ years’ experience in direct contact, member-driven service organization/business model that involves connecting members to service and purchased goods. Experience working with higher education/municipalities is ideal.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding front-line customer service that puts the member’s needs first
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and deliverables
- Analytical mindset with the ability to manage and interpret data
- Database experience, including search, report writing, and data compilation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required)
